Let's Talk Twilight

Photobucket

Alrighty!
It's Caryn, Im back with a Twilight Review... I guess lol

Well, I'll start by saying that I read Twilight almost 2 years ago and fell in love.
I can honestly say it was the first book to get me into reading.

However, having read more books since then and the whole Movie fiasco that has taken place... it's has officially died for me.
Now, now, now! Don't go and grab your pitch forks and fire!
I still like the book, if you don't believe me look at my bedroom walls, but that book was better off in the dark hole in the wall.

I'm not saying that just because the book got exposure I'm going to hate because everyone likes it. That's just stupid.
But Since the movie (Which Blew horribly!) I can't stand the book.
My whole vision of the book is kind of destroyed.

If you liked the movie, more power to you. But If you didn't read the book LONG before the movie you will not know where I'm coming from.

Long blog short,
Twilight will always have a special place on my book shelf, but sadly things can never be the same. *Tear*

I'm not sure anyone will read this blog of mine, but I want to know:
What do you think?
Any hardcore Twilighters that read the book when it first came out?
do you feel the same? different? or do you not give a flying vampire about it?

Let me know :)

xoxo- Caryn

P.S.
I will admit this scene was pretty adorable. And by "adorable" I mean steamy! lol

Jessica's Guide To Dating On The Dark Side (Review)

Photobucket

Here is a little tid bit of info that author, Beth Fantaskey, likes to consider what the book is centered around.

"...A young adult novel about an average American girl who learns that she’s destined to become a vampire princess… and betrothed to marry a handsome, charismatic – but dangerous – vampire prince."

At first glance when looking at this book in B-n-N (Barnes and Noble) I thought it was just going to be a typical teen book, with lust and broken hearts.

However, I was bored that day and wanted to just sit around the store and read.

I'm so glad I did.

This book is huantingly brilliant!

I'm not even exaggerating dude... AMAZING book!

It's well written, the plot is exciting, you never really know what's going to happen next!

Not to metion it made me cry for a good 10 mins.

I finished reading it today, and I started it yesterday.

I stayed up all night reading it because I was afriad that if I didn't finish it... something would happen in the book while I was asleep lol xD

But I finally gave in at around 6 a.m.

I'll keep this simple.

Go and read this book anyway you can!

Library, B-n-N, Boarders!

As nike would say: JUST DO IT!

It's not just a teen vampire book, if you can connect with the charaters the way I did, then you will totally get why I swoon over this book.

Screw Edward Cullen at this point lol

I want me a Lucius!

Kudos to you Beth Fantaskey for making my crappy weekend full of mystery!

xoxo - Caryn.

Favorite quote:

"Better Bald that a Brillo head.

Better a Brillo head than a bitch."

lol

P.S. This book was delightfully funny.
